Today we confirmed our predictions with Baby Emmett's mom.
We learned what he is doing already and what he isn't yet doing.
Here is what we learned today:

- smile
- ride a bike (baby bike) : not yet
- grab a ball
- sleep
- cry
- fight (boxing) : not yet
- drink from a bottle
- lay down
- say words ("ba ba")
- laugh (little giggles)
- roll : not yet
- swim : not yet
- he sucks his thumb
- he lifts his head
- he makes fists
- he tries to talk, goos and gaas
- he's making movements to start crawling
- he likes to stand with mom's help (he's strengthening his legs)
- he likes to kick
Today we measured and weighed Baby Emmett at 4 months old.
He measures : 23 inches
He weighs: 11 pounds
When he was born he measured 20.5 inches and weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces.
We used our math skills to figure out Emmett's weight, first his mom stood on the scale and then she held him. We counted by 5's to count up and confirmed our estimate together.
